We are honored to welcome Billy Nungesser, Lieutenant Governor of Louisiana, to the judges’ panel for the 2026 Annual Who’s Got Talent? Gala!
Called the “hardest working man in America” by one national media outlet, Billy Nungesser has earned a reputation for his dedication to the people of Louisiana. He worked tirelessly to protect his community and played a major role in efforts to rescue and restore the Gulf Coast following the Deepwater Horizon oil spill.
Another national news organization described him as a “true son of Louisiana,” shaped by the state’s unique culture of seafood, oil, and politics.
We are thrilled to have Lt. Governor Billy Nungesser joining us and helping judge the incredible talent taking the stage!
Dennis Assaf
We are honored to welcome Maestro Dennis G. Assaf, founder and Artistic Director of the Jefferson Performing Arts Society, to the judges’ panel for Kelly Kicking Cancer’s 2026 Annual Who’s Got Talent? Gala!
Maestro Assaf founded the Jefferson Performing Arts Society in 1978 and has spent decades enriching the performing arts in our community. A respected conductor and frequent guest conductor around the world, he has conducted nearly 200 productions locally and abroad. He holds both a Bachelor and Master of Music in Conducting from UNO and was named Alumnus of the Year in 1999.
With his incredible experience in music and the performing arts, we couldn’t be more excited to have Maestro Assaf helping select this year’s winners!

A longtime New Orleans radio personality, Scoot has spent decades behind the microphone. Today, he hosts The Scoot Show on WWL Radio, where his unmistakable personality and perspective bring together pop culture, New Orleans life and current events.
With a career built on entertaining and connecting with audiences, we can’t wait to have Scoot helping judge this year’s talented contestants!
